Ridgeline by Honda
The Ridgeline: More sunny days ahead
The original SUT from Honda that qualifies as a truck, but really is'nt a truck or a car, (by manufacturers standards) but is really a marvel of engineering, quality and design.
I'm not the best at any one thing but I do all things well, very well...!
Cloth or leather, either way you will be treated to some of the best and most comfortable seats in any truck in the business.. Even very long trips are over in a whiz..!
The base Ridgeline comes in one flavor, fantastic...!
It's very un-truck like independent suspension, power windows, power door locks, automatic dual zone climate control, integrated bed with plastic lining, very responsive handling, power rear window, large control knobs, A/C, cruise, six speaker sound system, and five-speed transmission w/lockout selection switch make for hands-down one of the best riding and best handling sport-utility vehicles that I have ever gotten my grubby little mitts on.
........and then there is the innovation
If you do decide to ice those drinks there is a drain plug to release all that excess water when the parties over...
The Ridgeline has a base price for 2014 of about $29,600 for the RT model, but if you are not careful you can run the options up to nearly 40 grand for the top of the line SE. It has a 1,500 lb payload, 8 inches of ground clearance, and gets about 15 mpg city and 21 mpg Highway.
Still not enough room? Just lift the back seats for even more storage space..
It's versatile unibody and stiffened frame makes the Ridgeline a very original and very solid piece of machinery.
Not a real truck…? Maybe not, but I ain't no punk...!
It tows, it pulls, it carries, and it climbs, all in excellent comfort, and then there's that Honda reliability factor that is indeed rock solid.! I asked some Honda Ridgeline owners how they like their vehicles and the answers were all the same, "I love it and I wouldn't trade it for anything". "It has been a very good truck and it is always got me out of a jam". "It has never let me down", and that's a great thing to know for potential buyers..
It's a great that Honda decided to keep this thing around, and now that the economy and all that mess is slowly falling back into place it turns out that it was a very good Idea indeed. Who ever told the automotive press that this aint a real truck told a lie..! Reliability and Innovation wins again..
Thank' s for checking out our review of the 2013 Honda Ridgeline.. It's time for us to head north to check out the Detroit Auto Show... I'm so happy I could just spit.. Till next time, this is Dre' at autoFrenzy.net, reminding you to keep your hands on the wheel and your feet on the gas..
Deuces yall, and again Happy 2014..!
