the new 2013 Malibu, by chevrolet
Stop your grinnin and drop your linen.. The Bowtie boys are back with something to prove..
In the past few years we know who the sales leaders have been, but every year a new mid-sizer comes out, it begins another race for dominance. Another race to see who can have the best looking, best riding, best real world handling, most fuel efficient and most reliable car in the market. In comes the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu, and a line has been drawn in the sand. You just better be sure before you cross it..!
The new Malibu rides as good as it looks too. The platform is solid with a great ride and great maneuverability. The car now has electric steering that feels great at low speeds and gets heavier at higher ones. It really fits the Chevy's nature well. The engine choices are the 2.4Ecotech, an all new 2.5, and a ready to do battle 2.0Turbo w/inter-cooler. The engines are good for fuel mileage of 20city and 30highway for the turbo to 25city and 34highway for the naturally aspirated, all the way up to 28city and 37highway for the Eco, (a mild hybrid with regenerative braking, start/stop operation, and electrification via a small motor and a lithium Ion battery.) The front of this car clearly is the new Chevy architecture and the face that is clearly recognizable as the Malibu, but the tail end is of a whole different matter. Chevy designers made the car a but shorter on the outside, but gave it more trunk space and a beautiful rear end with dual silver tipped exhaust pipes.
