2014 Ford F150 Tremor
Shake n bake, it's better than frying
Ok folks, lets face it. As much as I am partial to other automobile manufacturers, I have to give my hat a tilt to Ford. Not only have they simply took off in the design and quality department, save the My Ford Touch, which is mainly a complaint from drivers who drive and have no interest in focusing on a control of the automobile features at the same time. Remember it does have voice command, so there is really no need to bother with the touch screen very much. They have gone out of their way in the design department more than any other automaker to give the customer something attuned to his/her own singularity and here we are with yet another one in the form of the Ford Tremor. An F150 that is not a club cab and that has a short bed with a suspension that is ready to stick it to the street and the race track. Making it's appearance from the parts bin box with Fords 3.5 liter Twin Turbo Eco-boost, and an option of AWD, it's ready to shake, rattle, roll and bake the city streets, while at the same time turning gravel into glass..
Using both the short platform and the short bed, the Tremor will be about a foot longer, but much lighter than past fast Ford trucks, namely the SVT Lightning..
Go head dammit.. I wish you would..!
The piping on the seats give the interior just enough flair and aggressive attitude to say man don't you even try it...
Designed with the typical Ford F150 dash layout where everything looks and feels just as solid as it is. Quality is back to being job one and you may even notice that on the center stack there some new things that have been missing from major car manufacturers lately. Yes, yall, buttons and dials are back in fashion. Yes girls and boys, Ford has decided to give in and give us a few throwbacks like buttons and dials in order to make a less controversial product. They even kept the shifter on the floor. If you ask me, I think it works, and it works damn good..
The interior looks just as good as the exterior.. Fantastic..!!
The heart of the Tremor is Fords own 3.5 V-6 with twin turbos (dubbed Ecoboost) producing 365hp and 420lb ft of torque. In the vernacular, she's fast as hell. Maybe not as fast as lightning, but more than up to the task.
Don't forget to check the go fast option..
In yo face...
Don't expect stellar fuel economy with this beast and don't expect to be able to park it anywhere you want, as this is still a big truck. It still leaves a big footprint, as its 20" rims and wheels suggest, and it will still be costly to operate, but I'm sure you already knew that, as nobody buys any full sized truck like this to be frugal. This is a vehicle that is meant to be seen, and be seen you will.. The Tremor is expected to hit the streets before the end of this year and is expected to have a lot of standard options and a price tag of about $35,300.. So grab the handles and get ready to set fire to the rain with the Tremor, built Ford tough.... You know I had to squeeze that in.. Thanks for checking us out.. This is Dre.. Deuces..!!
