Complete sheer and utter madness.... And it's fast too.!
Houston, we have no problem...
Since it's inception into the Volkswagen /Audi/Porsche family it seems to me that they have really stepped their game up the design and technology department and the latest setup to wear the Snarling Bull is the New Lamborghini Adventador. <ad-ven-ta-door>
The Adventador is a 3470 pound motorized, computerized, speeding bullet that is the replacement for the Lamborghini Mercialago, and the new flagship for Lamborghini. The car has a 6.2 liter, 691 horsepower engine mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters on the steering column. It gets a combined 13 miles per gallon and a more than capable top speed in excess of 210 miles per hour and able to haul that speed back down fast enough to pop your eyes out of the socket and pull the skin off your face.!
"Next stop, the stratosphere..!"
To start the Adventador, you must first make sure the emergency brake is engaged. After that you must step on the brake, flip up the red toggle cover (looks like a control for a missle launcher) and press the START button underneath, and then hold on!
The dash is a semi configurable LCD screen and the car, even though arguably smoother than any Lamborghini before it, is still as intimidating as hell! Like all of the Italian Exotics, it is extremely wide and maneuvering definitely takes some getting used to. The car also comes standard with traction and stability control and it's not a bad idea to leave these features on whenever operating the car. Never turn the nannies off as the power of this car can easily overwhelm the rear end if driving too fast or driving in inclement weather. Though the car is very well balanced and has huge sticky tires and a great AWD system, it can still lose it's footing very easily if the driver is not paying enough attention, or if your not driving with your "A" game.
The Adventador also comes Standard with Audi's Multi Media Interface System with Navigation, Bluetooth, I-pod connect, paddle shifters, heated seats, LED running lights, All Wheel Drive, Side Curtain Airbags, massive Carbon Ceramic Brakes, 19in front and 20in rear tires, and standard Hill launch control.
From every angle this thing is brilliant, beautiful, exclusive and expensive. Also notice the trend of the middle tailpipe with splitter and the optional see thru engine cover. Only a jet fighter looks smoother or better.
